Privacy Statement, Effective as of May 21, 2018

DEADLINE2ONLINE AS  (“d2o”, “d2o.com” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit the Company’s Web sites (“Visitors”), individuals who register to use the Services as defined below (“Clients”), and individuals who register to attend the Company’s corporate events (“Attendees”). This Privacy Statement describes d2o.com’s privacy practices in relation to the use of the Company’s Web sites and the related applications and services offered by d2o.com (the “Services”).

Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personal data in accordance with our website.

1. What PMI Solutions or Websites is Covered?

This Privacy Policy Statement covers the information practices of PMI Solutions, including services such as:

  • PMI R&P (Revenue and Productivity)
  • PMI P&L (Profit and Loss)
  • PMI GoGreen
  • PMI Task Manager
  • PMI Plus (Extended version of R&P and P&L modules)

This Privacy Policy Statement covers the information practices of Websites that link to this privacy statement, including domains as:

  • *.d2o.biz
  • *.d2o.com
  • *.d2o.no

Wildcard (*) means that any subdomain is covered on any of the listed domains.

2. What Information is Collected?

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, the Company requires you to provide personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”).

As you navigate the Company’s websites, d2o.com may also collect information through the use of commonly used information-gathering tools, such as cookies.

When you register for or attend corporate events, the Company will ask you to provide basic contact information, and information on your participation in the events on d2o.com’s Websites.

PMI Solution Integration (Client Specific Source Data)

The Company may, on Clients request, collect Source System Data from Clients or Client specific Integration Partners or Systems. Source System Integration may be with systems such as:

  • Points of Sale (POS)
  • F&B Reservation Systems (FRS)
  • Table Reservation System (TRS)
  • Time Keeping/Management System (TKS/TMS)
  • Property Management System (PMS)
  • Revenue Management System (RMS)
  • Sales & Catering Management System (S&C)
  • Accounting Management System (AMS)

Source data integration is important for Clients in order for specific PMI products and Services to work optimally. Source data is encrypted after import when stored for backup.

PMI Account

The Company directly collects information when you are:

  • enrolled as a PMI user (name, username, email address, title and employee number)
  • actively editing and submitting information within your specific PMI portal
  • submit a support request

The way to have an account removed is to send an email to support@d2o.com with the username and/or email address of the user(s) you would like to be removed. d2o will only honor account removal requests from known contacts at client organisations. If the removal, due to database dependencies, is not possible the username in question will be else anonymized.

PMI Academy

The Company directly collects information when you:

  • sign up for a PMI Academy user account and create a user profile;
  • enrol and participate in online courses;
  • purchase a product or service (for example, Verified Certificates);
  • send email messages to PMI Academy (including messages to learner support);
  • participate in user surveys; and
  • participate in public forums, webinars, and other interactive experiences on the PMI Academy Site.

The way to have an account removed is to send an email to support@d2o.com with the username and/or email address of the user(s) you would like to be removed from the system.

It’s a quick change for us to make on our end, so it shouldn’t be something you ever have to wait a long time for us to process. d2o will only honor account removal requests no later than 30 days upon receipt from known contacts at client organizations. Please ensure that the account is unenrolled from any courses before they are deactivated in order to prevent the user from appearing on enrolment reports and Insights.

3. How Do We Use Your Information?

The Company uses Data about d2o.com Clients to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, the Company will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services.

The Company also uses Data about d2o.com Attendees to plan and host corporate events, host online forums and social networks in which event attendees may participate, and to populate online profiles for Attendees on the Company’s Websites. Additional information on the Company’s privacy practices with respect to Data About d2o.com Attendees may be found in additional privacy statements on the event Websites, as the case may be.

The Company may also use Data about d2o.com Clients and Data about d2o.com Attendees for marketing purposes. For example, the Company may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding the Company, its affiliates, and its partners, such as information about promotions or events.

The Company may also use Data about d2o.com Clients and Data about d2o.com Attendees in order to operate and improve performance of products and services.

The Company exercise, enforce, and comply with legal rights and obligations. This includes responding to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; and investigating, preventing, or taking action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, security or technical issues, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PMI, Members, or others, and as otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Web Site Navigational Information

d2o.com uses cookies to make interactions with the Company’s Websites easy and meaningful. When you visit one of the Company’s Websites, d2o.com’s servers send a cookie to your computer. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you; they merely recognize your Web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to d2o.com, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or filling out a Web form (such as a “Contact Me”), you remain anonymous to the Company.

d2o.com uses cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer.

5. Forums and Customer Testimonials

d2o.com may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s websites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. d2o.com is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

d2o.com posts a list of Clients and testimonials on the Company’s websites that contain information such as Client names and titles. d2o.com obtains the consent of each Client prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.

6. Third Party Disclosure

Service Providers

d2o.com may share Data about d2o.com Clients and Data about d2o.com Attendees with the Company’s contracted service providers so that these service providers can provide services on our behalf. Unless described in this Privacy Statement, d2o.com does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

d2o.com Affiliates

The Company may share Data about d2o.com Clients with other companies in order to work with them, including affiliates of the d2o.com corporate group. For example, the Company may need to share Data about d2o.com Clients for customer relationship management purposes.

Business Partners

From time to time, d2o.com may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service from d2o.com, the Company may share Data about d2o.com Clients collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). d2o.com does not control our business partners’ use of the Data about d2o.com Clients we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. If you do not wish for your information to be shared in this manner, you may opt not to purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered product or service.

Third Parties

This Privacy Statement sets forth the information d2o.com collects on the Company’s Websites and the information we share with third parties. d2o.com does not authorize the collection of personal information by third parties through advertising technologies deployed on the Company’s Websites, nor do we share personal information with any third parties collected from the Company’s Websites, except as provided in this Privacy Statement.

Compelled Disclosure

d2o.com reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

7. International Transfer of Information Collected

The Company primarily stores Data about d2o.com Clients and Data about d2o.com Attendees in Norway. To facilitate d2o.com’s global operations, the Company may transfer and access such information from around the world, including from other countries in which the Company has operations. A list of the Company’s global offices is available here. this privacy statement shall apply even if d2o.com transfers data about d2o.com clients or data about d2o.com attendees to other countries.

8. How Do We Protect PMI Visitor Information?

Our websites are scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. This include encryption of Data (such as name, username, email address) both in transit and at rest.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
