Founded in Norway, we work across Scandinavia, Europe and Asia and gather in person whenever the calendar allows. Most recently, we met in Costa Rica to mark 25 years.

Young N. Nguyen

CEO & Founder

A recognized thought leader, Young has shaped the way hospitality leadership views and manages operations for more than two decades. Concepts such as the Daily Live (rolling) Forecast, RevPOLU and productivity excellence are closely linked to his work, particularly across Northern Europe.

Passionate about hospitality, he is outspoken about the industry's tendency toward tradition-bound, rigid management practices, habits that slow innovation and prevent meaningful change.

For Young, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. True simplicity can only be achieved by those who understand complexity; in the same way, organizations gain competitive advantage when they solve complex problems in simple, effective ways. That mission has earned him numerous awards and made him a sought-after international speaker.

He studied hospitality management at Glion, followed by executive courses at Cornell University, the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and Heriot-Watt University.

Henrik Gerdin

VP Strategic Initiatives

Few people know hotel and restaurant operations as thoroughly as Henrik. More than 20 years in hospitality across multiple countries has given him hands-on knowledge paired with strong connections to senior leadership worldwide.

He is relentlessly curious and eager to explore new ways of thinking and working, especially in forecasting and machine learning. He considers it a privilege to collaborate with some of the industry's brightest minds on complex challenges that cross continents.

Above all, he is driven by redesigning the systems and practices that let hoteliers manage resources and productivity more effectively, giving them greater confidence in daily operations.

Henrik earned his B.Sc. in Hospitality Management with first-class honours from Oxford Brookes University.
