An interview with Young Nguyen, d2o CEO, in Switzerland by Claudio Zucco (Alumni Relations Director and Tourism Lecturer).

Young defines creativity as “Nursing new ideas” and conveys the secret for success for growing the company from 1 to 250 employees:

  • Have a concrete vision
  • Really believe in it
  • Right hiring; people that share the same vision

Young talks about technology as an opportunity for people. PMI (Performance Management Intelligence) technology helps management to move from cost based pricing to market based pricing. The decision making process is improved by the help of PMI. PMI makes it possible to directly respond to changes in real time. He also talks about going from deadline driven activities to online collaboration and integration.

Young says that “Excellence et Efficacite” has been important keywords in the search for balance between quality and productivity.
