On April 20, 2023 an updated version of the GoGreen index will be released. The GoGreen index view will remain the same, however you may notice changes to index scores, due to additional measurements that have been added. 

The main purpose of this update is to:

1. Have a greater focus on rewarding successful resource management by comparing past and future consumption to Forecast, target and Last year’s results
2. Reduce the need for ‘mechanical’ behaviours that add limited value. E.g. Saving the cockpit when there are no required actions to be taken.

The new measurement points are as follows:

1. Monitor Learning cockpit: The Learning tab of each cockpit should be viewed at least once a month. This is to allow you to evaluate results from the past month and identify areas for improvement.
2. Year to Date Consumption vs. Target: Measures actual consumption compared to target year to date. For a score of 8/10 users need to be equal to or below the target consumption.
3. Year End consumption vs. Target: Measures actual consumption for past days and Live forecast values for future days compared to target for the current year. For a score of 8/10 users need to be equal to or below the target consumption.
4. Year to Date Co2 emissions vs. Target: Measures actual Co2 emissions compared to target year to date. This is calculated based on the settings in the cockpits. For a score of 8/10 users need to be equal to or below the target Co2 emissions.
5. Year End co2 emissions vs. Target: Measures actual Co2 emissions for past days and Live forecast values for future days compared to target for the current year. This is calculated based on the settings in the cockpits. For a score of 8/10 users need to be equal to or below the target Co2 emissions.
6. Year to Date sorting rate vs. Last year: Applies to Waste cockpit only. Compares sorting rate YTD to the same period last year. For a score of 8/10 users need to be equal to or have a better sorting rate vs. last year.

The following measurement points have been removed from the index calculation:

1. Update the cockpit: This has been removed as it is not always relevant to save a cockpit when no actions are needed.
2. Enter and share activities with the community: This has been removed, as it is not always needed to add additional activities.
